Great lines and textures, beautifully converted to digital. A provocative scene that raises several questions...
An ouch waiting to happen.
Wonderful shot. Not that it matters but did you find it that way or did you set it up?

Thank you Linda. I maybe should have posted this in the B&W section, but I am hoping for more Wabi Sabi in this section. One question my post may raise is about the use of caps and a hyphen in the spelling of wabi-sabi. I had the concept long before I had a name for it.

Quite right Kathy, this is wabi-sabi with an edge

It is a relevant question, Jack. In those days, although I was not religious about it, I mostly practiced shoot it as you found it. As cool as that shoe was, I did not want to touch it, so no arranging here. I always appreciate your comments, thank you.

For those of us who have stepped on a nail there is no question what had happened, OUCH. As part of my Environmental Management Job, was "Health and Safety". Rrockdog's punch photo would be a great poster, "Workplace Hazards -- Ready to Nail You."
The construction of this photo is excellent, monotone is the best choice color would be a distraction. Well done rockdog

I think in this section we're "trending" (hate, hate, hate the mis-use of that term, especially in sports
) towards a wider definition of artistry in photography. I am hoping we'll keep pushing the boundaries. Please post as often as you'd like, Phil!
