I see a drop, but I have to assume since ADMIN makes money on clicks that he believes he has done the right thing.

I see the same discussion at the Pentax Forum - ‘are people losing interest?’
NO, people that mostly complain about things are seniors and are crossing the bridge...

I am a ‘Senior’, and these days I don’t like crossing bridges, but I resolve the issue by having someone other drive {and don’t complain}.
I for another still prefer the old format. I do not peruse the new when I get it each day.
Once received, I just hit Home and look at what I want.
I notice a lot of the naysayers are still around but the good guys are fed up with them and are the ones who have left.

I never used The Digest.
So when people kept talking about OLD/NEW format differences I couldn't figure out what they were talking about.
I saw no changes in what I was viewing.
It took a while before someone said "
The Digest" format........
People STILL only say OLD/NEW format, but at least I can surmise to what they are referring.

That is a good thing... Some of us getting up in years, myself included , can be a little grumpy... Like yesterday spending 3 hours doing grocery shopping because the Boss is home in a wheelchair and can't drive anymore... To paraphrase Clara Peller " Where's the recliner ".

I have noticed. I visit, look around, come back 2 days later and the same topics are there with nothing new. The sad thing is, people complaining about not getting new members. are they the same people that belittle everyone? The same people that complain if someone new asks a question thats been asked before . Then they berate them?
The same people that when a person asks about buying a new camera or lens , dont give constructive answers , They just say your wasting your money , why would you want that?
This places is getting worse and worse and many of us visit less and less.
oh and why did I want the Z9, new canon, new sony ? because! just because, no other reason and if you cant afford it, or dont understand it, too bad.

EVERYONE is grumpy nowadays... Ask a simple question and you get nasty responses... People seem on edge and just want to argue to blow off steam. Go to the attic and look at their threads... One can't even try and be reasonable there !

They stopped the Daily Digest!? I haven't noticed much difference in the daily email link.

Go to your Profile and scroll down to “ Auto-expand digest filter by section” and check it. Your digest will then be presented by section. You then click on the section you wish to read and current topics for that section are presented. When you’ve read all you want in that section, click on the button at the bottom of the page, Clear Section Filter, and return to the listing of all your subscribed sections.

Important Caveat
Don't hit the bigger button that says "Previous Digest"

I get the digest every day!?
Open a new post on Filters, Mirrorless, RAW vs JPEG, Canon vs anyone, or what lens to take on cruise, and you'll get all the regular amount of activity ....
Correct. Me too. Maybe you need to resubscribe if that's possible?

Not dropped, actually improved. Now I can filter on only posts from sections I’m interested in.
I liked the digest but if more people don't won't it back I'm easy with that also.
Dave.
