Just upgraded to LR Classic and would like to learn more about its features and improve my skills. I'll probably by Scott Kelby's Lightroom Classic Book. I have used his LR5 book for years and liked it. What other LR books would folks recommend?

Your subscription entitles you to subscriber-only training content at Adobe.com. I'd start there with the 'free' stuff you've paid for.

I see tutorials available in my account, but not a way to search for specific topics. Surely browsing topics is not the only option to find something specific I'm looking for?! There is a Search Creative Cloud bar at the top, but that searches lots of other programs. In fact the results don't even seem to include Classic.

I've been using LightRoom Classic for about 6 years, although for the last 3 years or so, I havent been very active in it. I was gifted a two-day live overview class last weekend.
LightRoom is something of a "living program" which changes at least a little with every update. Some of the updates result in significant change.

Based on this recent experience, I do not recommend "pick and choose" training, simply because you will not know what to pick or choose. Instead, invest your time in a comprehensive beginning-to-end look, starting with the Library and going all the way through to exporting and Printing. There are all sorts of gems hidden along the way that you are unlikely to find unless someone shows you.

I found this software to be almost completely different from the software I installed six years ago. It does many things that at one time could only be done in PhotoShop. And having a proper understanding of how the Library works is critical. Is that something you are likely to choose training on?

Oh...pick training that is done on a computer that matches yours. There are significant differences in how the Mac and PC versions look in many places. Those differences are sufficient to cause significant confusion.

Best wishes as you move forward. I know that my enthusiasm for LightRoom and for editing are both much by having a better understanding of what I can do and how to actually do it.

When I have a specific question I google "How do you........" in Lightroom Classic. Virtually every time you will find the answer

I belong to Kelby One. It has so many classes on Lightroom and Photoshop that I could spend hours a day just watching them, and still have new ones delivered each week or so. One of the advantages is that you'll see classes on upgrades. I like the travel classes when the instructor goes into editing their images.

Youtube is loaded with tutorials and free. Look for Morganti or Kelby or Kost etc. I'm a big morganti fan. Here is a link to his videos. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLllFqBuTM0WJTD4rpvf748Um9MMmbo4r9

I am not a fan of Kelby. His incessant goofy comments in his books, attempts at being humorous, are annoying and take up space and time.

Because LR is updated all the time, I avoid books because they cannot keep up with the newly introduced features of LR. I like Julieann Cost video tutorials. I like Terry Lee White. And the available free tutorials from Adobe are good as well. Ive only seen one Lightroom Queen post..it was detailed. MattK, does ok on editing but leaves out, intentionally, the whole instructional area of organizing photos...a very major part of LRC.

Thanks for the tip and link. I've probably watched a video or two of his over the years. Now I'll start doing it regularly.

Thanks. Yes, I think Kost is great. Hadn't heard of White. Will check out White.

I have a Kelby subscription, have watched several Julieann Kost and Terry White Lightroom Classic videos, but to me the best by far is the video series by Laura Shoe. She starts with how to load (or upgrade from earlier versions) LR Classic all the way through making books, uploading to the internet, etc. Very detailed yet easy to follow and understand.
