How many people have been arrested and convicted by the feds for simple possession? I don't know the answer but I'd guess it's a small fraction of those prosecuted in state courts.

I doubt anyone in any state is going to jail today for simply possession (less than an oz.), first offense. This is a lame and meaningless ploy.

Agree, it's so close to election time there will be more of these kinds of thing going on. Anything to get more voters either democrat or republican. They both play the same game.
