OK its time to get this FreeSunday thing started. I know I'm a little later than usual but what can I say.... I needed my nap. I'll get it started and I'll look for you all to join in.
I had a left over from Pat's song challenge. You remember "Rudolph the Red Nose Raindeer" don't you?

This is Miller, the world's greatest cat and ruler of the yard.
Sometimes he would observe from a semi concealed location.
and sometimes he would give an intruder the evil eye until it left!!

I enjoyed meeting Miller the yard ruler.
I have some birds to share:
I took this photo on our honeymoon in Kauai in April 1987. The photo was shot on a Nikon N2000 with Kodak Kodachrome ASA 100 film and processed by KMart Store. The original print was 8x10 and it is a scanned image on an Epson All in One. We were told that at Christmas they would put a lighted Christmas Tree in the truck as a holiday display. Always wonder if that truck is still there. It was pristine. My wife is still putting up with me after all these years and she too is still pristine. Merry Christmas honey!

Animals that can't jump or crawl.
With the Christmas party season upon us, I would like to share a personal experience with my friends about drinking and driving. As you may know, some of us have been known to have brushes with the authorities from time to time on the way home after a "social gathering" out with friends.
Well last night I was out for an evening with friends and had several cocktails followed by some good red wine. Feeling jolly, I still had the sense to know that I may be slightly over the limit. That's when I did something that I've never done before - I took a taxi home.
Sure enough on the way home there was a police road block but since it was a taxi they waved it through. I arrived home safely without incident. This was a real surprise as I had never driven a taxi before, I don't know where I got it and now that it's parked in our garage, I don't know what to do with it.
Sally and I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year.
