This was taken from about 5,000 ft elevation looking down over the valley. When the inversion hit the temperatures in the valley can be colder then up on Bogus Basin, up over 7,000 ft.

Fog is so mystical!

Did you say iPhone are you sure your on the correct forum, ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I see too many post that say smart phones canโ€™t capture good images. Pretty amazing shot I think no matter how it was captured.

The fog comes
on little cat feet.

It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.

What a great title and a great shot. I am glad you were able to be there to capture it. I find that still photography is always fleeting in nature. Itโ€™s the Decisive Moment that can make the difference between ok and great.

Amazing images can come from cell phones these days. Just a lot of luck with this one! I know there is a smart phone forum, just wasnโ€™t thinking of it at the time.๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ
