Hawk having a Snack

Wife just walked in and said hurry up there's a hawk across the street under a pine tree eating something . So no time to waste I grabbed the small camera zoomed to 180mm and leaned against the car ,hand held and tried to get a couple shots , geez had to 50-60 yards away .
Wish I'd had more time to get the D7200 with the 300mm but it also had the 18-140 on . So here they are cropped ,ot the best but it made her happy ,She said they look good . She's not that picky . I said they're not very good .

They are a little soft but worthy of a post. We often have to take what we are given.

Yeah , cropping them didn't help ,but my wife liked them . A lot better than her cell phone

Good, but could use some lightening. Happens to me when an opportunity arises and I don't have a camera glued to my forehead...🍺
