I first intended to zoom in on the hills for a sunset, and was all set to find high elevation to clear the tree line. I ran out of time and stamina climbing up from the road so I swapped lenses to a 14mm and shot the first dead tree I could find. It gets pretty dark quickly in the Prescott National Forest and I had left the trail. Fortunately I had siri find my car because I have a lousy sense of direction.

It reminds me of my life.
Nearing the end of the day, looking all worn, and tired and nearly dead...

Very nice! I like the second one better. The tree dead center in the first one doesn't work very well for me. But that's just ME!!!!
