The most successful images ( photos, paintings ), if applicable to their genre, invite the viewer in, take a look around. In my case, it may help that I'm very familiar with such terrain.
I see two boats, isolated on a muddy slue, trapped by a tsunami of water hyacinths, and clouds that look like they want to lay a good shot of lightning on you.
What's not to like. Great one.
