I was looking at MPIX but went with Pictorem. Not only did I find their Chromelux HD sublimation impressive, but they will do custom sizes. That’s important to me because I often crop to non-standard aspect ratios.
Good to know...and there is a Black Friday deal going on there now...
Odd sizes is an important feature
After personal research, I came to the conclusion that there is very little difference between all of them unless you look at professional sites.
If you ship your image out of the country, as I do, shipping cost becomes a consideration. The choice then becomes slightly more complex. I settled on Whitewall lab. They have labs in the US and Germany. The shipping cost is kept low, despite shipping in reinforced packages (I had images up to 5 feet printed and shipped to the UK and France).
I'm discovering that more than one of the recommended sites don't like "Tif" files and request sRGB instead.
UHHers have very often mentioned that sRGB's are for online viewing or otherwise electronic viewing and not for printing? What the heck !

Serious labs require and have severe limitations on what you can send as file format. Those that select a lower standard deliver good work but for pros, they are substandard.
I've used Aluminyze and MPix both with good results. I recommend ordering a small test print with dark shadow and bright highlights so you know what to expect.

https://vividmetalprints.com/ is a company in Lexington, NC, just down the road from me. They specialize in printing ON metal with aluminum dye-sublimation. Check them out! They have been around for 20 years. Dye sub is an old process known for its saturated colors.
They were formerly "ImageMeisters" I think, and claim to have originated the process for printing Dye-sub on metal. They've done three very nice large prints for me, but I won't do any more until I have a calibrated monitor, so I won't have to do a lot of back and forth till it comes out right.

Wrong. JPEG’s are fine for printing and often preferred to a huge TIFF. Also, sRGB is the colorspace and not the file type. Even if you do send a TIFF to a printer they’ll probably want it in sRGB colorspace.
You might want to look at Shiney Prints in Jupiter Florida.
I have used RedRiver metalized paper with stunning results. But metal prints tempt me...
Bay is: wwweasycanvasprints UHH rejected the site reference.. why?? Are they a problem?
