On our way south for the winter.
The first time in about forty years since I have been to Zion!
I hate cars in my photos, but they do provide a little perspective!
I hope you like!

Great series! Nice to see somethings don't change. Zion is great! Looks like it did on my last visit 45 years ago!

I like very much. Absolutely love the beauty of Utah’s parks, national and state.

Thank you. Bigger crowds, but otherwise just about the same. Just saw on the news, there was a big rockfall that closed one of the hiking trails!

Thank you! Me too!! I lived there in Moab for a few years as a kid, late 50's/early 60's.

Some of my best memories (and photographs) are of traveling the "triangle" of canyons in southwest Utah: Zion, Bryce and the north rim of the Grand Canyon (which is technically not in Utah, but I digress) and Snow Canyon.

Thanks for jogging my memory!

My pleasure, Fred. Spending a lot of time on Aircraft Carriers in the Navy, I would find myself thinking "how did the world get so flat?" And then the memories would start flowing in! Great memories!! But mostly of Canyonlands and Arches, and of course, The Grand Canyon!
I'm glad you liked the photos!

Thanks, Mike. We're going up to the mountain, here in New Mexico, to my brother's place for Thanksgiving. It will be the first time in a few years that we have spent Thanksgiving with family.
Happy holidays to you and yours also!!
