Late Wednesday afternoon. The Colorado River above the Potash put-in/take-out, Airport Tower, the Dolphin Detention Center (a.k.a., the potash evaporation ponds), and Elvis Rock.

Beautiful scenes! And wonderful lighting in the 2nd, and 3rd! Makes me want even more to visit there... My wife hates it when I 'drag' her down dirt roads, no matter how pretty. And she grew up on a dirt road, lol.
I drove that road. Your images make it really beautiful. How is the river? Does it look healthy again?

Apart from the Potash Plant and the evaporation ponds
(will no one grieve for the poor dolphins held in detention in those dreaded ponds??? the horror! the horror!), The River (i.e., the Colorado) is just fine and sends its warmest, wettest regards, APL. Currently running just below 4,000 cfs, the water it carries --in all the places that are more or less 'river' rather than being mud flats and sand bars--
appears to still be wet, but that's sort of normal for this time of year.
....but "healthy"? that could be a matter of debate.................
Postscript addition:
I'd considered including the attached shot when I first posted this mot, but since it isn't AI and I didn't even personally take (shoot, capture, photograph, or otherwise execute) the image, I didn't. What it is, on the other hand, is a frame I isolated out from the video sequence that my dash cam recorded while I was out shooting the second and third images (that show the brightly lit rabbit brush and/or the environs around and below Airport Tower). I guess it would best be described as a sort of unintended 'selfie' or something.
(Pay no attention to the time stamp. I suppose I need to remember to reset that to reflect reality sometime soon. But I really don't know if there's a way to re-calibrate the speedo-meeter, though. I'm certain the Jeep was NOT travelling at 0.1 mph! Heck! The engine wasn't even running!)
