I respect Sigma because I think they still make all of their products in Japan. People say you can't make a profit making products in Japan due to labor cost. I don't think that's true.

I always have used the lenses made by the manufacturer for their cameras and I mean Nikon lenses for Nikon bodies. A few years ago I bought for my Olympus camera a 60mm f2.8 Sigma Art and I can say that Sigma makes fine optics.
My 60mm Art has amazing resolution and it is excellent for portraits and as a medium size tele.

I no longer have my Sigma 150-600 C. But when I had it I thought it was very nice I now own 4 Tamron all G2's and 3 are 2.8.

I own one and love it , it has stunning image quality, and superb build quality at an affordable price.

Here one shot I made with this lens. The Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, California, USA. Sony A7RIV camera, Sigma Art 24-70mm f2.8 DG DN lens, 24mm, ISO 200, f8, 1/80 second handheld.

Click on download to see better image quality.

Cheers and best to you.

Amazing video! Sigma Arts cannot be beat imho. My line-up includes the 14-24, 24-70 and the 105mm bokeh master. All are tack sharp, very well built lenses.

I shoot Canon and my brother, after I had purchased my first DSLR, let me borrow his Canon 18:55 lens. I got used to it and saw the advantage over the kit lens. He wanted it back and reluctantly I returned it. Be bought for me the Sigma 17:50 2.8 lens. It is, over all the years my favorite lens. I shoot a lot of low-light events, some in small spaces and this lens is ideal. I have an adaptor and also use on my Canon mirrorless.

The only Sigma lens I have is the 150-600 contemporary. I use it on my R5 with an adapter. It’s a great lens for the money.
