Conceptually it's good and IMO that takes precedence over any technical considerations. Having said that, I think I'd prefer less noisy versions.

Thank you R.G. I could have removed the noise. Truth? I never even thought about it until after I posted it. I'm OLD.
I can use that as a great excuse for just about everything.
Gotta go see if I can find some memory booster.

I like photo 1, in photo 2 the moon becomes competitive with the birds. "Fly me to the moon" is a great direct the viewer title.

Thank you very much. Much appreciated.

I agree with R.G. and dpullum's comments about the differences in the two, and the title.

What I think works especially well is that the moon is less than full (a nice change of pace). The direction of flight is perfect for the composite, and I think the size of the geese is also.

I like it a lot, Jo! Many thanks for posting to Digital Artistry.

Thank you Linda. I appreciate that.

I like the first one the best and I really like that you found a use for older photos that were going to the bin. And you had a good time doing it. Win-win if you ask me.

Thank you Erich. It was fun.

Great shots, especially the combination of the two of them. I'd prefere the first one, as it shows the moon and the birds much clearer than the second one, also, the noise in the photos are much more obvious in the second.

Thank you so much. #1 for me too and I just plain forgot to remove the noise. OLD...I'm old! Being old comes in handy when you need an excuse. LOL!

I like the 2nd one better. I think a little denoising would help, too.

Thank you for looking and commenting. It doesn't help when you forget to denoise.

I know I should have tossed these two pictures when I first made them back in 2012. I was cleaning out hundreds of old shots today and decided to combine these two just for fun. Couldn't decide whether to use the original BG (#1) or the darker one...like it really mattered!
Criticize all you like, I don't mind at all, and it was still fun.

I like both. Altho, I'm leaning to the second one as a favorite. A little noisy but I really do understand why. Title is perfect for this image. Great imagination.

Thank you so much Dave. I never would have thought of it if I hadn't seen both pictures at the same time. One was made in Canada (geese) and the other in Tennessee, years apart.
