I think it was a great combination of figures! Yeah, the man's hand doesn't touch the bridge. But, so what. The feet in the water add a touch of reality. Nice work!

It seems the Roebling family had some interesting engineers - John, his son Washington and Emily, Washington’s wife. They were all involved with Brooklyn Bridge according to my search. Interestingly, I also found a straw poll of ‘the most famous engineer’ and it included Emily but neither of the other two! That makes the poll rather meaningless I reckon.
Look forward to seeing your revised composite Dave.

I really like the 2nd image street scene! As far as the composite I tend to agree with Linda.

Thank you for commenting, finally someone is on the same page as I. LOL. No, really I have to agree with you but there are some things needing corrected. I have discovered and I'm sure you will agree, composites are always under construction. I've got some a few years old that are still in the construction zone. Not sure exactly where I stand with this one. May be in the water for awhile ... maybe.

Yeah I knew of the Brooklyn being a sister model or vise versa, not sure which one came first tho. Was not totally aware of the Roebling family. Still at the drawing board and may be for a while with improvements.

Thank you. I too, like the street shot of the two. I have a couple more. There was just something puzzling about them that caught my attention. I can only speculate but will actually never know.

Placing those two figures up against the bridge as giants really shook me up for a minute. Wow, a really creative composite.
