A little general history. The first use of the term work shop was for a conference by a group of physics in the late 1940's at the Ghost Ranch in New Mexico. It was a working exploration to solve problems arising from aspects of quantum physics in which the participants were jointly working to arrive at common solutions to problem solving.

About the time that Model Mayhem came into existence a group began surveying the work shop phenomena in the us and expanded the large categories of work shops offered in the world as a whole. From this investigation, a short history of the idea for the emerging phenomenon of the work shop was written as an introduction. A listing of all available work shops was then to be published in the form of a small pocket size paper back book.

After compiling the information it was determined that the book would be to bulky and so the information was published as a two volume set. The first volume was the desired size, about an inch thick that listed all the work shops except photography work shops. The Second volume of the listing of all available work shops were photography, and so was exclusive for photography and it was easily twice as thick as the first volume; and contained only work shops of a photographic nature. Of the listings for photo work shops, 90% of which were offered in the USA.

In this volume of photography, the work shops were listed by States in the Untied Sates instead of by category of types. Most of the offerings were in figure photography (about 70%).

One may easily see that there was a great interest in work shops for photography than any other subject and that the primary focus of the photo work shops were in figure photography.

To insure that a great work shop would happen I did some promotional photographs to advertise the coming KNOX as a construction working girl. This worked and so Ms. KNOX had a work shop of 11 playing customers. The guys loved it and several told me that the work shop meet their expectations, or exceeded them.

Tim, how could you even consider posting these photos in the "Nude Photography" section of the Hog?

Knox is wearing all the correct protective gear, including eye protection with glare-reducing lenses, work gloves, knee and leg protection, steel-toed high-heel shoes (required for ladder climbing) and of course the leather tool belt with all the required accoutrements! Far from nude, she is perfectly dressed for the construction job, and she is proudly showing off all her best features, especially in number 3. She looks happy and confident; you caught her at her best!

Beautiful photos, great series, but hardly fit for posting in the nude section; perhaps you might reconsider.....

Thanks Rick, I strive for the details in a photograph. It is obvious but I will say, the tape measure is for right hand worker and she is right handed. I do also have a left handed tape measure for s lefty.

But KNOX was voted the work site safety officer by the guys. Obviously there 'agenda' is not with safety. After all KNOX has pierced nipples and is wearing fishnet stockings, not a safe combination if on a construction site, or modeling in general. A little secret about babes, after getting the nipples pierced, women begin to get into the sensation of having a 'new' experience with tugs on nipples. It's a girl thing! And it is vary naughty sort of thing. More on this in coming posts on women in a construction site.

I was at work one day and I walked by a truck of one of the construction workers doing some general carpentry work. On the side of his ruck was a decal with this bit of wisdom clearly stated, I quote, "If you think that OSHA is a small town in Wisconsin, man are you in trouble."

Actually, I think the fishnet stockings (visible in the other Knox series) are perfectly appropriate, considering her role as safety officer. Since she is supposed to set a safety example with her actions, wearing that attractive attire will insure all the gentlemen are keeping their eyes on her, and they will naturally do all the right things, safety-wise. So you definitely have all the bases covered with your attention to detail. She will never have to stretch sideways and risk falling off the ladder, as they will all be right there handing her the correct tools! None of the safety uniform items block the otherwise scrumptious view of Knox' finer points. Excellent planning on your part!

As a retired electronic engineer, I always thought a "tweak" usually referred to a very small adjustment during a calibration procedure. Your mention related to her piercings sheds a whole new light on the use of that verb. Whatever makes her happy.......

Speaking of truck decals, when coming back to the neighborhood yesterday there was a very pungent odor. Then I saw why, two septic tank pumping trucks, one with the sign "This truck has Bad Breath", and the other had black writing across the side of the yellow tank reading "Stool Bus". We encounter humor in the most unexpected places....

Excellent observation on your part.

I do believe that one of the great strengths that Americans have is their truly gifted sense of humor. As example, during WW II all over the battle zones of Europe there was that silly and impish caricature with the words Kilroy was here! And let us never forget the phrase "Fubar", such humor to deal with military madness and mindlessness!

Yes, Tim, and I have a couple more to add, from later in the 20th century.

I was just about to finish USAF tech training on the comm nav and weapons control computer systems of the F4-D phantom, and once we get our orders for our next duty station, we are exempt from all details, including mess hall KP. It was customary to hang a copy of our orders on our barracks door, and with a wide red felt pen, write diagonally through the entire page, either "FIGMO" or "OMGIF".

If we were happy with our next assignment, the abbreviation could be read as "Finally I Got My Orders". or something remotely similar. But if we are not pleased with our next duty station location, the abbreviation spelled out "Oh My God I'm F....." fill in the blanks. I still remember, to this day, writing FIGMO on my orders!

I just noticed you posted another beautiful and radiant Knox photo. This one seems rather dangerous, as she is no longer wearing her international orange fishnet stockings. Maybe that is why none of the gentlemen are looking out for her safety. But she is experienced in handling that reciprocating saw, and could probably teach a few new tricks. "Are you watching, Heather?"

By the way, I LOVE that necklace. Perfectly appropriate for the occasion.
