Another in the Solarium Construction.
Two more from the set up for the planned work shop session.
I did these two images as 'propaganda' or if you like promotional image to help show what the photographers could expect for the work shop with Ms. KNOX doing demolition of a real work site. I have found that these sorts of photo sessions have loads of images of models and yet never really visually show what is the 'reality' of the environment that people will encounter during an actual event.
The first image shows the natural clutter of a work site. More importantly (for all you safety buffs), I wanted some details of how the site looks but also the crazy way a worker might not understand the importance of proper and safe tool use. I warned that it is a real site and that tennis shoes were never a good and safe foot wear for ANY one on such a site. The yellow safety helmet was for show and they were not required for the photographers. The use of ladders and the scaffold to make images was up to them. I have a scaffold to use for image making in the studio, it is an excellent tool for that purpose.
In the second image of KNOX on the roof is planned and quite posed. I liked the way the claw part of the hammer resting against her tushie just looks great. The glancing look over her shoulder fits nicely with the bright red lip stick transforms the image into a style that of pin up imagery.
KNOX fell 'in love' with the Milwaukee 'Saws all' power tool.
KNOX with the Saws All and scaffold.
Roof top demolition.

Dude! KNOX is missing many safety items. As the safety officer I left it up to her to know her job. Even the OSHA inspector did not find any 'faults' with the work site. I do recall her explaining that her Keds had steel toe covers, or some such thing. It's really HARD for us guys to 'examine' all the facts. But not to worry, OSHA did have a safety woman inspector stop by, but she and KNOX had a varrrry long 'discussion' in KNOX's office and even that female OSHA rep found vary little to complain about, if you are getting my continental drift!
Love the women carpenters. Great models and nice photo set or studio.
