I find it interesting how some players here... this is a game right?, apparently behave as though changing another person's gender is an insult. I'm not sure what it says about the insulter, but it doesn't impress me a bit. It seems to imply that women are... less than, men. What would your mother say? Or is that where they got the idea?

Even before Women's Lib, I knew mom & dad were different, equal parts of my rearing and neither to be trifled with foolishly. I suppose having two younger sisters was influential as well. No brothers.

If one believes it is insulting to call a man, a woman then a serious generational, educational and social gap exists.

I know this is falling on deaf ears, but I feel better for saying it.

I'm glad you do. Many, too many, do not. It's important to use the correct terminology when referring to weapons. The incorrect, sensationalized use of the term 'assault rifle' that the media and uninformed use conveys the wrong message.
