There are a few of these "turn of the century" fire houses that are still around. Most have been retired and re-purposed. This one is waiting its turn.

I love this!!!! You should make a book of your night shots to sell to the people who were born and raised there and love your town. It would be a treasure!

Those were the days......

One of our modern "engines" couldn't even back into that garage.
Most fire houses, don't even have upstairs living quarters, with
a "real brass pole". I've slid down a few before they got rid of them.
