Back after a very long absence.

Greetings folks. My name is John, I was here a long time ago, but life gets in the way. Anyway, I love photography, and got my start around 1966 with a 35mm Miranda GT.
I moved up to a Nikkormat and have been a Nikonian ever since. Most of those 50+ years I was an avid amateur, but for over a decade I had a studio and did mostly pet and kids, but really I love to shoot anything with eyes. However, I now live in a nursing home, my kids sold everything I'm told. But a couple of great friends have gifted me a couple of older Nikon SLR's, a D80 and a D3300. The ain't what I lost, but at least they are cameras that feel good in my hands. I'm still working to get a Photo Shop capable computer, that might take a while, but working on it.
Well enough of my rambling. Thanks for giving me a forum to blather a little, looking forward to chatting with
you all.

I always thought that memory was the second thing to go.
