Beautifully composed set. The camera is capturing great detail and great bokeh. Thanks for sharing the beautiful test photos.

Very nice shots. Those talents would work well with any camera.

I found a post you did on this camera in 2021 with Fall landscapes. I bought this camera for longer hikes with the ability to capture wildlife. Even with micro four thirds, which I now use, there is usually the issue of swapping lenses….. which lens to use? As I am sure you found, the ZS200 is not a perfect camera. Your cell phone can do as well for landscapes and macro, but probably not wildlife at some distance. I will have a better idea in a few weeks how happy I am with the ZS200 as a hiking camera.

I agree. I purchased this camera because I wanted something light to walk around with and had some reach. I recently took a trip in Europe and maybe took 15 images with it. The rest of the time I used my IPhone. I mainly shoot in IA mode and have set the front dial set to change Exposure Compensation.

I have read local reports of Fall foliage in Virginia that due to high heat and dry season the leaves are prematurely turning brown. What leaves are left on trees are still green. You may be disappointed if you plan to shoot Fall landscape.
Good photo shoot in any case!

That does sound disappointing. I also plan to see parts of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Anyway, there will still be hiking and wild ponies! Thank you for the information.

I took these photos recently with my new hiking camera, a Panasonic ZS200. I want to be comfortable using it for my upcoming trip to Grayson Highlands State Park in Virginia.

These photos were taken locally in Georgia.

Lovely!
