Anhinga closeups at HBSP

Huntington Beach State Park, Murrel's Inlet, SC. Labor day weekend.
In some shots, the bird was too close. Because of my prime lens, I could not move back any further without getting an obstruction - a shrub - in the middle! So not shy too!

That's why I prefer zooms. Much more versatile!

Thank you, Chief. Agreed, zooms are more versatile. I prefer primes due to their lower weight (well, at least the ones I choose ). And most of the time, my 'targets' are too far away and closeness is rarely an issue.
