We all know that Amazon Prime increases in cost every year, but this is in addition to that. Unless you don't want to see ads during Prime movies, you will have to pay an additional $2.99 a month. Billed annually? Plus tax?

When seller's costs go up, the price increases. Membership dues are only a part of the cost of providing the service.

Nah, in the case of Amazon, when the owner goes through a nasty divorce, or the owner's best friend buys a bigger yacht, he raises prices so he can pay the settlement or buy an even bigger yacht!

I’ll forego the $2.99 increase. I rarely watch Amazon Prime movies. There’s so much on my other streaming services; Disney +, Paramount +, Motor Trend, etc.

I can't remember the last time I watched a Prime movie. When I do, I'll get a snack while the commercial plays.
