While this is a fun and simple Pan Fried dish to make for Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner... I like to Kick it Up a bit for added flavor that might not be expected!
As a start - I use one of those Ring Sausages sliced, then the slices halved (Kielbasa, or such). The Potatoes are Reds that were steamed the day before, then refrigerated overnight so's they are easy to cube the next day. The third thing is I use a nice-sized yellow onion (Walla Walla is a Fav!!) that is Sliced and Diced.
Salt (I use Amabito No Moshio, Seaweed Salt) and fresh ground Black Pepper are the usual suspects to spice this dish up -
Plain and Simple,
Nice and Easy!
However, In the words of the Late, Great
Tina Turner, I Neva' do Anything...
Nice... and Easy!!
Yep! The Zinger... I added a bit of
Madras Curry Powder and a bit of
Spanish-smoked Red Paprika! Ya' don't need very much of these spices at all - they are there for a hint of flavor, only! Not to be a focus, but to be a background flavor.
