Marmon made beautiful cars. I'm surprised we don't see more of them. This one is a beauty with the rumble seat and the golf club compartment.

An interesting book I have "We Took to the Woods" by Louise Dickinson Rich about a couple who did just that in the late 1940's describes how they used an old Marmon they affectionately referred to as the Mormon for everyday tasks deep in the woods. Quite a different look from the one in your photos as well as its location!
