I hadn't noticed because I hadn't zoomed in close enough to see it clearly. It's a sharpening artefact. I got rid of it by backing off with the sharpening and adding a touch of Clarity instead. I probably shouldn't have bothered with the Clarity because it's the sort of shot that suits a soft look. Thanks for your comments.
