We may be a dieing breed, but we aren't gone yet. Carry on brave photographers. We do still make beautiful images.
Some artist paint with fingers, some just throw & flick paint.
The point is that brush, mouse, pencil, phone, dslr, mirrorless, ad infinitum... are all just tools of expression to an artist. It is the technical user who is limited by the tools on his hands.
There really is no reason to have a camera vs phone debate or polarization. They each answer to a different question.
