Think of it as an "artsy-crafty-hobby" as a sideline to your regular photography. Other people know it's AI so no harm done and you still have your original photography. I love your image. I have not done any AI yet but it's in the back of my mind. What program did you use?

There are good applications for AI and also nefarious ones.

To each its own. I have no problem with AI generated pictures. I take pictures for my own enjoyment and really don’t care what others think, which is also the reason I don’t post any of my pictures. To me it has to have a challenge element to it to take a great picture. Usually a lot of prep goes into the shot but it is vey satisfying for me.

I'm in complete agreement with you! I also shoot mainly for myself, and however I get my "finished" image is just fine by me. (with or without any help from Al, whoever he is)!
All the best and I hope you have a great day. Ray.

John, thank you for agreeing with me. You agree exactly with what I wrote immediately above your response. My post was about how sky replacement is not that big a deal for most people, but telling lies about real people should be a real concern for all of us. My concern and I think your's is not with someone using AI to touch up an image, but with someone creating, as you put, a false narrative that would lead to either a detrimental effect toward another person.
