Balancing Rock views

Its been awhile since I've posted anything but while viewing my archives last night I found what I think are worthy ones. I have visited arches NP 4 times in the past, most recently 2008. On my 2005 visit I was using a Nikon D70 with only 6 megapixels, new at the time. I like including people in my scenic if it works as I feel it adds interest and scale. Here a a few of balancing rock that I think tell a story. 1 approaching the Rock 2. Beginning the climb 3. Time for a Rest 4. As high as we go. 5 Late dusk in silhouette- last view before leaving 6. Same view with a Luminar starry sky added. I have plenty more from that and other trips and I may add more later.

Good set. I would suggest that you put the titles above each photo.

Today there is only one place in Arches that allows climbing. Now I can see why that’s the case. We love our parks to death.
