According to an email from John Greengo, there are firmware updates for the following cameras:
Canon R3
Canon R5
Nikon Z7II & Z6II
Nikon Z9
Sony A7 IV
There is also a recent update for the Z8.
There was a firmware update to my aerial camera, a DJI Mini 3 Pro, this week too!

I just checked the Canon website, specifically for the R5. The latest firmware version listed as of 10 minutes ago was 1.8.1, which has been around since mid March.
I just checked the NikonUSA site; no update for the Z6ii posted yet.

The latest is v1.60, released in July. I'm at v1.40 so perhaps I am due for an update anyway.
Can any report on experiences with the R5 update? I held off as I usually do until the glitches play out.

John Greengo...... May not be up-to-date on the Canon R5
I am a cannon R5 owner... I watch the updates on a very regular basis, and as of 5 minutes ago. The current version is 1.8.1, which was the announced update in march of 2023.
I would look forward to an update. But, I cannot find out where it has occurred
Cheers
