I have a new Apple desktop computer, an old desktop computer and a laptop. I just finished transferring data from the old desktop to the new one. How do I transfer the Adobe license to the new desktop and how do I remove the license from one of the computers? Thanks for your help.

When I moved from my old MacBook to my new one, Ps and Lr moved as well. I used Time Machine and the Migration Assistant to make the move.

If you still have the license just type it in to the new computer. You can just uninstall the other copy in the other computer. It will be removed permanently from the unit.

I already have 2 active licenses on 3 computers so I can't find that Adobe moved with migration. I probably need to uninstall one license in order to activate it on the new computer. Thanks.

Don't think I have a license number since I don't own the Adobe products- paying monthly payment to use. Thanks

One license works for any computer. Have MS. Office on there different computers in the house all registered to me. No problems using them.

Should have purchased the product and received the license key for it once. Microsoft Office has that kind of program and I still only purchased it once. Whtmy should I keep on paying for the same program month after month and within 1 year you could have purchased a full complete licensed program that will last a lifetime from one computer to another.

As I recall when you open LrC or PS on your new computer it will ask you which other computer on which you wish to shut the license down. This is sticky and it will remember all the computer names that you have enabled the license on.

You will have an Adobe ID. Download and Install Creative Cloud on the new computer. Sign in to your Adobe account and manage your subscription installations.

You can install three, but activate only two installations, and only use one at a time.

You don’t need a license. Just deactivate it on one device and log in to Adobe with your credentials.

Oh what a mess- at least it seems that way now. My passwords were incorrect so I corrected that to be able to get on Adobe. Then I did download Adobe Cloud on my new computer but the installation failed several times. Then I read the codes for the install fail (code 1) but have not been able to correct it. It might be because I already have 2 active accounts on the laptop and old computer but I did not get anything that specifically said that or asked me to choose which 2 out of the three computers to activate to.
Also for some reason my 400 GB of pictures did not appear to migrate to the new computer or at least I can't find any pictures on the computer except for my iPhone ones.
It's all a mystery to me.
It's clear I will need to do a chat with Apple and Adobe.
Thanks for your help

Your bigger problem is that the installation failed. Even if you don't have no license not paying subcription you should be able to install the software. So there is something not right with your new computer.
