Recently acquired for my display cabinet a Beseler Topcon RE Super. It was the second SLR that I used some 55+ years ago. It has the standard 58mm f1.4 Lens. The lens has a 62mm skylight filter on it I am looking for a Topcon Lens cap that fits this lens. I believe that it would be a 65- 67mm slip on cap Don't see anything on the net. Perhaps someone out there might might have one in a drawer or box someplace they want to sell.

JR,

I may be one of the few on here that even knows what a Topcon RC Super is. I bought mine when I was in Vietnam in 1967. It sounds just like what you have. I'm afraid I'm not ready to separate the lens cap from it. As far as it's usefulness as a camera, those days are gone. The leaves of the diaphrams are so slow that you will never get the f-stop you have set. It was a great camera and I'm guessing I must have taken thousands of photos with it. If you know of any way to get the diaphram leaves freed up , I'm all ears.

I saw this on ebay. It's maybe not the right size but there are others there. Good luck!

Hey Steve. Thanks for the tip, But I contacted the guy and that is not a cap for a 58mm lens but rather a cap that is 58mm inside diameter. That cap fits a 87-205 and a 135 mm lens. Thanks for the thought... John R.
