These are a few photos I have found interesting to me, taken in the downtown alleys of Alexandria, Indiana. They are all of businesses of the past, all long gone. The downtown area of Alexandria was lined with businesses until I was about thirty, and then they dried up. Today there may be a dozen or so left. Some of the signs have been repainted over the years.
