Check out the Lumix ZS95 (TZ80) - 720 max zoom, small sensor, the Sony HX99 -same, slightly shorter max zoom, or the Lumix ZS 100 - 1 inch sensor, zoom to 250 or the ZS 200 - 1 inch sensor and about 350mm zoom. Of course there is the Olympus Stylus 1s (used) - 1-1/12 sensor, zoom to 300mm, f2.8 all the way, or the Sony RX100 vi or vii - 1 inch sensor, zoom to 200mm
Thank you.
I recently discovered the camera about which I had read and this is what I had been looking for:
PANASONIC LUMIX ZS80 20.3MP Digital Camera, 30x 24-720mm Travel Zoom Lens, 4K Video, Optical Image Stabilizer and 3.0-inch Display – Point & Shoot Camera with Lecia Lens - DC-ZS80K (Black)
It costs around $420. I mght get it and try it out just for the focal length range and the sharpness of its lens. My brother-in-law has posted many incredible shots of hawks devouring their prey in the middle of Stuyvesant Town in New York City. Each one looks like he'd been almost on top of the action when the shots were actually taken a considerable distance from the action.
