So many great posts here. I am blessed to see virtually every sunrise these past 6 years over the Gulf of Mexico whilst taking my little buddy for her morning walk here in Rockport, TX and each one is a special as the last. As for pics, I took so many that I soon came to the realization that I had enough. That said, I occasionally can't help myself and here are a few more recent ones taken with either a Samsung Cell or Sony rx100. Thanks to all for making this such a great site.

What a great start, Pat, to a challenge I just know is going to have tons of exceptional images!
I have a ton of "sunrise" images, mainly because I was used to getting up in the wee hours of the morning
when I was still working.
Far fewer "sunset" images because for 45 years in sales, I went to bed way early.
That said, I did manage to find some "sunset" images.
This first set is from Aruba way back in 2011.
