I just checked the weather forecast - another "Warm" day. The temperature will rise to a "Warm" 83° at 4:00 PM. I'm glad I have lots of trees for shade.

Yeah. I feel sorry for most of the country that is suffering with this ridiculous heat. This has been the coolest summer I can remember.

Certainly the wettest, here in the northeast. After 3 or 4 summers of extreme "flash droughts" that made gardening almost impossible, we're getting a month's worth of rain, every week. As my poor waterlogged garden struggles to survive, I keep thinking how I wished for rain those past summers. What do they say about being careful what your wish for?!
Right now the temp here is 74 degrees F, at 7:12 AM. We expect the local temp to be 100 Deg + by noon. Our pool is currently 85 Degrees.

There sure is. We have been in our house for 50 years this year and our trees are huge. A few years ago we had all of them pruned to the tune of $1800.
One of them - a fruitless mulberry - snapped some large branches in a wind a month or so ago and the cleanup was $650. They are coming out this morning to go over the tree and remove any more hazards - $850 - and/or take the
tree down.
We love these trees for their shade but they do come with costs.

83° is 4 degrees lower than our daily low today in AZ.

I have big trees all around my little 107 year old house where I downsized. It's been in the high 90s here and I have yet to turn my air on. 3 fans keep it cool enough. I have a feeling August may change that.
96 degrees right now. Several computers put out too much heat, so the A/C must be used to keep me cool.
We traveled to miniapolis minisota about 8 or 9 years ago.it was in the middle of summer and it was 83 degrees at noon.i fell In love with their summer weather but I hate their winters.Remember when the super bowl was played in miniapolis. It was one of the coldest super bowls ever.i will deal with my 100 degree weather in the summer and my 40 degree winters and that is cold to us.
