Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
When I was young and stupid, I owned a '68 Firebird. 400 cubic inches under the hood bored .30 over, Holly 650 double-pumper, and a 4-speed manual transmission. It was the fastest, most dangerous vehicle that I have ever owned.
Honestly, I am surprised that I never killed myself in it...
Fun times though.
In my opinion, the '67 GTO was the most beautiful car ever produced, nice photo.
This actually looks like a 1966 model I had one just like it. Same color. I loved it. Of course being young and stupid. I totaled it and almost killed myself. I was lucky I didn’t get hurt. I was able to walk away. It was a nice car.
This is a nice picture. Thanks for sharing it.

I agree. Not a good view of the tail lights, but it looks like a ‘66.
This is a 1966 GTO. You can tell by the tail lights. I had one this same color with Tri-power.
What I wouldn't give to have it back again.
Don
The '66 and '67 were almost identical, both gorgeously designed automobiles.

I feel the same way about my Firebird.
The automobile I had that was closest to that was a Red 1965 Pontiac Tempest LeMans with the 326 and a automatic with shift on the column. I really liked that car but sold it to a shipmate and then bought a 1968 Buick LeSabre. Thinking back, I often wish I had the money then, and even now, to have kept some of my former conveyances. Ahh the thoughts and dreams we gather as we mature.
