Thank you, Joe, for the color explosion of last week's challenge and, Larry, thanks for another "free Sunday" .
I don't recall a challenge totally devoted to f/stops, (Aperture). Using "Aperture mode" might be the easier way to capture f/ stops in this range for this challenge. The purpose? identify situations and stops in which your camera operates best, review the effects of aperture on DOF (depth of field) and just have fun. When going through your archives, you might also discover as I did, the f/stops you tend to use most often. These turned out to be ones I use most (I didn't know that when I selected the topic). I am aware there are many factors such as ISO, shutter speed, available light, focal length etc that affect f/ stop choice.
Here are some standard f/stops: 1.4 (widest opening), 1.8 (or 2), 2.8, 4, 5.6, 8, 11, 16, 22, 32, 45. Most cameras can set half stops.
Please post your f/stop along with your image.
