I saw my neighbor's weeds growing behind a chain link fence and started taking photos. I am not sure which I like best. How about you?

I can honestly say that I like them the same. I think that “neighbors” have a responsibility to maintain thei yards in a manner that doesn’t affect their neighborhood. Maybe his neighbors should chip in and buy him a goat.

I like the second.

I like them both, the second lends a perspective that is just a little different. As to weeds, the head gardener of Golden Gate Park in San Francisco said in a lecture ‘a weed is a plant that one find’s unappealing to their eye’.

I prefer the first, as it appears more compositionally planned.

I appreciate your comment about my photos. That is about where I am at as well.

With due respect, the neighbors are some of the best I have ever had and those flowers/weeds are in an area where they do not bother anyone especially me. They are more like ground cover and completely on their property and not a nuisance to me. How they could possibly be a nuisance to you is beyond me.

Thank you very much fhayes for your comment. Me too. I think I am leaning toward number 1 though.

Thank you Bob. I very much value your judgement. Good choice. But you will notice I just may tell others who select number 2, good choice too.
