Well, a very little fighter, anyway.

Here’s my tiny four-winged angel, protecting my personal airspace by interdicting mosquitoes.
He’s welcome to every one he can catch.

In New Orleans, which is where I’m from originally, we called them mosquito hawks. I don’t think I ever heard the term dragonflies until I moved to Texas.

From Algiers and them are Mosquito Hawks, my gardening teacher is always correcting me in Ca.

Tutubi
is what we call them.

Tutubing-karayom are damselfly
and Paru-paro for butterfly

I looked at google to see what a mosquito hawk is, because this is the first time I came across such name and this is what i saw:

Nice shot. We called them mosquito hawks, too when I was growing up. I learned to refer to them as Dragonflies much later in life.
