Cop Pulled Over Another Cop

Orlando - A sheriff saw an Orlando cop driving 80 MPH in a 40 MPH zone. He turned around and gave chase. When the Orlando cop finally stopped, he was argumentative and said he was "going to work." Then he got back into his car and took off. He's since been arrested and charged with several violations. In Orlando, at least, police must obey the speed limits. When they have to speed, it must be for a legitimate reason, and they must use lights and siren.

I've seen situations online where a civilian pulled over a cop for doing something wrong. In one case, the cop admitted his mistake and apologized. With video cameras everywhere, it's hard to get away with anything.

Doesn't seem like the White House has cameras everywhere. How can they not know where the white powder came from? This is not political, just amazed that every square inch of a that place doesn't have a camera focused on it.

Maybe whoever was using the "powder" knew where all the blind spots were. Considering what's going on in the world, that's a molehill.

That incident was years ago. News must be pretty slow up there.

This was on Lehto's Law, and others, on YouTube. All the posts are from three weeks ago.

I assume the cop was driving his own car. In NY State, and probably many others, police vehicles are exempt from the vehicle and traffic laws. That's necessary in order for them to catch other violators.

He was driving a police vehicle, but he had no excuse for speeding. Legally, he should have had lights and siren on - that's the law in Seminole County, FL, at least.

In MY Gubbiment world - EVERYONE with a civil service badge within a 10 mile radius would have been required to pee in a bottle within 8 hours. I guess there's a red tie amnesty zone around 1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW.

He told the cop who stopped him he was on his way to work, which is not a reason to be speeding. Even with lights and sirens, they have to have good cause to speed, like chasing an offender.

The date on the sheriff's car shows the date as July 2, 2023. Apparently, miracles do happen.
