I need help with profiles in Lightroom Classic. I have been taking a lot of infrared pictures lately with a conversion done by Kolari. In the Develop Module, the lowest level on the temprature slider is 2000. But temperatures of -50 or -100 are best for IR, before sending them to Photoshop. I made profiles with the DNG editor so as to be able to reduce the temperature to these levels. I can see the profiles in LRC, and when I click on either of them the frame surrounding them lights up, so they appear to be selected. But when I close the profile browser, the profiles do not work. The lowest I can get is still 2000, the same as when I do not select a lower profile. Does anyone have any advice for making the profiles work as they should? Many thanks in advance.
What camera did you have converted? You need to use the camera manufacturer’s software to set the white balance before going to Lightroom or Photoshop.
The temperature slider in Lightroom is in Kelvin degrees. It is a an absolute temperature scale. There is nothing below zero Kelvin.
Hi. Thanks for the response. I am using an Olympus camera and its raw files, RW2. And yes, I used Robert Reiser's instructions.
Yours, George

I've been having a similar issue with profiles in ACR. When I create a LUT and try to create a profile from that LUT I get an error message that it can't complete the task. I think that there may be an issue with the most recent release.

Consider a technical support chat with Adobe, a comment for the OP to consider too, at this point.
Thanks will look into it.
