After taking a break for 2 years, during which time, I lost all my photo archives, which was a good thing as they were a mess and thinking about them gave me a headache.
I have rented a Fujifilm ATX-5 with a Fuji XF 16-55mm f/2.8 because I am planning to Landscape Photography. It will be arriving next week. I am starting to get excited about getting the kit together and seeing what I can do.
In the past I have used Canon gear, digital and film and I once i get it done there will be a post with equipment for sale.
Cheers.
Welcome back. Have you planned improvements in your edit workflow and back-up strategy, including the appropriate supporting technology? Look forward to see what you've got Canon-wise to offer.
Have you considered looking at the Fiji GFX series medium format for landscape? You can pick up a used one fairly reasonable.
The GFS 50 is my second choice and I am planning to test one out before I make a purchase.

I know several photographers who got interested in photography planning to pursue only one genre of subjects. Every one of them has expanded to at least one or two additional areas. As you make your equipment selection, don't box yourself into today's requirements too tightly. Your interests may change.
Thanks for reminding me of that. I have been taking pictures since the early 80s and landscape is what pleases me now. However a good camera body only needs a new lens to change subjects. Cheers.
