Down to three. Canon R5 for landscape and birds with a 100-400 v2, OM 1 travel and my old Canon 7D Mk2 with a Tamron 150-600 if I feel like weightlifting

PS I do have several film cameras from the 1960’s but since I dont wish to inhale chemicals and commercial processing is almost non existent in Ottawa, I just keep them as display items for old times sake. .

I believe there are mail order companies that will process your film. Some also offer a CD with the negs. Just a thought.

Perfect is relative.

Not me. I have two canons and two Olympus. When I first got a DSLR, for years, I only had one. I can’t imagine having one camera now.

I have three mirrorless Nikons Z, two of them are FF and one APS-C. I would never go on a serious shoot with one camera.

Personally, I've mostly given up on carrying 2+ cameras into the field. Just too much to lug around, even if the two bodies can share lenses. That said, I'd have great trouble now shooting with just one camera always. When heading out with one, I certainly want to have options for which 'one' that will be.

Agreed. Sometimes it just comes down to what I’m in the mood for using.

Several years ago I used one of them with the result that all that all I back was a CD with nothing but low resolution JPEGs. I am much happier now that I can PP my own photos. If I want anything larger than a 13 by 19, I will send a high resolution JPEG to one of the online services suggested by Hogs in the many replies to postings that ask where to go for large prints.

While I list 5, I consider that I have 3 types with 2 extra, APS-C, bridge, pocketable. While I loved the 80D as my main, I now consider it backup. The 2 "pocketables" are almost interchangeable.

Right now I have only one camera and my phone for backup. i hope to change that soon. In the past I have always had at least two cameras.

Back in the 1970s, I bought a Miranda Sensorex, and that was my sole camera (I think) until I bought the Nikon F Photomic. Today, I can't imagine having just one working camera. Do any of you have just one working camera?

I panicked when Olympus threatened to go out of business and purchased a couple of models "used" that I've always wanted. Now I find I mostly use just one of them, and hate trying to pick which one. My EM5 MkIII is my "go to" first pick with a Pen-F, set to B&W, as back up. I really don't think I need any more cameras and am fairly embarrassed at my overreaction to this company's solving their problems by enshuring that their product would go forward, pretty much as it had in the past.., but who knew??

I have a Sony A73. I'm thinking of a smaller camera for travel in my old age! I'm looking a Fuji XT-5 or an OM1. Any input on this decision?

I only use one, aside from my iPhone. I have a dozen or more film cameras I don’t use. Five of them were decent.
