Happy Father’s Day to all. Now go breakfast for your wife LOL.
The RP is $599 at the refurb store. I'm tempted. The lens adapter is $79 if memory serves.
Both my wife and I have RP's. For me it was first entry into mirrorless from the EOS Rebel series and my wife's first camera. We are both retired and have found this a great camera for our level of capability. I use DSLR lenses (EF 24-105L; 100-400 LS11, EF 100 f/2.8) all using the adaptor. My wife has RF lenses (RF24-105, RF 100-400; RF 16mm) We couldn't be happier, Belated posting, but if Canon are still selling their recent refurbished models I would snap their hand off at the prices your quotes. As often quoted, many of their refurbished products are like new
Thanks for your reply. I didn’t buy the set mentioned. Will stick with 80D for now. You have some nice lens which are more important than bodies. Happy shooting.

Thanx for hedzup ! Ordered it :-)
FWIW, I couldnt find that adapter in the current refurb list but BH has the control ring version down to $149 and since an entry level body will have fewer controls that seems a good choice for $50 above the plain version.
Good move ID getting the control ring version. I am pretty sure I posted 2 days ago. Guess I forgot to send. I recall mentioning that the refurb RP is now $899. It will probably drop again.
Happy shooting..

Canon fouled up my order and after five days delay will not honor that excellent low price, even though they acknowledge still seeing my order remaining visible in their system.

I will be returning the spare RP batteries, unopened, to Wasabi but Im keeping the adapter. For just an extra couple hunnert sheckels beyond the unappealing regular price of a refurbed RP I have now got an original EOS R on the way. I dont need to buy any batteries for the R, so theres 60 sheckels shaved offa that extra 200 for upgrading to the R.
O my, ID that is not good on the part off Canon. Never had any issues with them but they should done the good PR thing and filled your order. How is the R? I just looked. The R refubished is $1619.00. The R 6 is out of stock at $1799.00.
Upon reading your post again, did you get the R for $200 or so more then the RP?
So $1100. Now it's $1619???

Got a used R with 2200 clicks for $1020 from Roberts (well respected good guys).
Why I even considered an RP was the $600 Canon USA refurbs sale. At its RMP of $1000 the RP is an OK camera but I would put that $1000 toward a better model. $600 ? That was a very different game. Whatever the RP delivers is easily quite worth it at that price !
I have a full set of EF lenses with OIS so the lack of IBIS has been OK. I went the extra $50 for the control ring version of the adapter. That proved verrrry worth it.

I see the blind man say. I buy from Roberts/Used Photo Pro too..Good people to deal with. MPB, Keh, B & H and Adorama are all in the same class IMHO.
