I'm generally not a fan of selective color but I do like this one. The red and grey go very well together, and it has a nostalgic feel to it but at the same time the red car is exciting. Good job! Starting with an idea before pressing the shutter takes us down a different path, often one of creativity and reward.
Thank you very much, because the car was a classic and the red just came off as brilliant I knew right away what the picture in my mind was showing me. The fact that the small main Street in Port Burrell has maintained an aged feel and look the setting was almost perfect the only thing that could have been better would have been the car sitting about 200 feet south of its current location. In that position it would have been sitting infront of the original wooden light house for the port. Unfortunately at this time that area is blocked off as the lighthouse is undergoing extensive renovations and is being held up by cables because instead of maintaining it over the years council decided to worry about it after time and mother nature had ravaged the structure. Port Burwell was an important area for fisheries on Lake Erie and also as an area where coal was delivered daily from across the lake in Pennsylvania right up until the late 1960's. I have included the link for the wiki about the village of any are inclined on a lesson in the areas history, I only thought of it as a great family location over the years growing up for a day of beach picnics or fishing with my family.
