Thanks for sharing! This was very interesting and reaffirms my position on how we spend research money. We spend billions of dollars to explore space and other than knowledge will never benefit 99% of us. What do they expect to do -- find a supply of lithium on the moon and send trainloads of the ore back to Earth? While I don't mind the quest for knowledge including space, we should be spending more on ocean research than space. We need to know more about what is in the oceans, what we can do to clean up the oceans, and how to protect endangered species in the oceans.
