Very nice set, I imagine it took a lot of running around to capture those images.

Thank you RodeoMan! If I did, I didn't know about it. I do have a friend that shoots rodeos though. His name is Stan Kelton. Do you know him?

Thank you Blurryeyed! Not that much running around. I found this patch of hairy vetch growing along side the road and it was loaded with butterflies. Only the last photo was shot in a different area.

I don't know Stan Kelton, but I'd probably like him if I did. In case you missed it, The Sweet Betsy reference was a joke related to the old folk song of the American West, Sweet Betsy of Pike who crossed the plains with her lover Ike. Pike refers to Pike county, Missouri.

Thank you for that bit of history about Sweet Betsy. By the way, everyone likes Stan. He shoots for the Whippoorwill Rodeo Company, but not a member of the UHH.
