The fact that I get to live here in the great NW Montana and photograph the Aurora Borealis aka Northern Lights is also awesome, some have never experenced them first hand. In most cases I usually never photograph from the same place for quite sometime after, as it becomes popular like Blacktail mountain in Lakeside where the old radar installation dome sits... from the valley floor it can be seen for miles. On this night, the aurora couldn't been seen through the fog that was thick, and I decided to head up high above it. I was surprised that I was the only person up there at the top, also a big bonus.
Those are great, thanks for sharing them.
Lucky indeed. Beautiful work.
Nicely captured - well done!
