Not in a million years would I try that! Great shots.

Thanks a lot, yssirk123. I don't blame you. You're probably a lot smarter than I am.

Something to tell the grandchildren...(always thought Burkina Faso had the best-named capital city; Ouagadougou...)

There was a little shop in the Greenwich Village area of New York called Waga. It sold all sorts of African geegags. When I walked in and asked the guy if it was so named because he came from Ouagadougou, he was stunned. It's an interesting city. Everyone cycles, and there's even a large statue of a cyclist in the middle of a broad avenue.

You're absolutely correct, although it's kind of a town thing, not really a tourist thing. It's not a place people visited when we were there about fifteen or so years ago. (Perhaps they do now.) All the people on the bus, except us and our two friends, were locals, and all we did when we stopped there was stretch and pee. The town didn't net a penny off any of us.

Perhaps when I was very young and more fearless but then I wouldn't be alive now to tell you about it now. MY PARENTS WOULD HAVE KILLED ME!!!

My wife almost killed me when I showed her the pics. My friend and I had been walking separately from our wives when we encountered these guys.

Wow! That is one good-sized croc! I'm glad you showed us the conclusion and the assurance you came back from the experience.

So training the crocks to associate humans as a food source is just good fun. Brings to mind a airboat captain in the Florida Everglades who liked to show off his "resident crock" to boat passengers. Trouble was, at his last show off he lost his hand and then some. Against the law in Florida to feed crocks.

They warn against doing anything like that with the gators in Florida. You are a brave man Charlie Brown!
